Delete Your PinRally Account and Data

This page explains how you can delete your PinRally account and how to request deletion of your data, with or without deleting your account.

We want you to have clear control over your information.

1. Delete Your PinRally Account (and Most Associated Data)

If you no longer want to use PinRally, you can request to delete your account directly from the app.

From the PinRally App:

  1. Open the Profile tab
  2. Tap Privacy
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request

Once Your Account Deletion Request Is Processed:

We may retain certain information for a limited period of time where we are required to do so for:

In those cases, data is kept only as long as necessary (typically up to 90 days) and is not used to identify you or to contact you.

2. Delete Specific Content Without Deleting Your Account

If you want to keep your account but remove some of your content, you can delete your own Rallies (posts) directly in the app.

From the PinRally App:

  1. Tap My Rallies and select My Creations tab
  2. Tap Settings button of the rally you want to delete
  3. Tap the menu button (three dots ⋮) in the top right corner
  4. Select "Delete Rally"
  5. Confirm the deletion

Once a Rally is deleted, all the messages, photos and videos associated with it will be deleted. They will no longer be visible to you or other users in the app. Some residual copies may remain in system backups for a limited time (typically up to 90 days) but are not used for any active product features.

3. Request Data Deletion Without Deleting Your Account

If you would like us to delete some or all of your data without deleting your account (for example, clearing past activity or messages), you can contact us and we will process your request where technically and legally possible.

We will reply with confirmation and let you know what can be deleted and what must be retained (for security, legal, or operational reasons).

4. What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained

When you delete your account or request data deletion, we handle data as follows:

Deleted or Anonymized:

May Be Temporarily Retained (up to ~90 days) in Backups or Logs:

Important: Any retained data is not used to identify you, to contact you, or for advertising purposes.
